Matias Soulé had a great first half of the season with Roma, but his future is now in doubt.
The Argentine has struggled with groin pain, and in his return games, he has appeared less impressive than usual.
Gian Piero Gasperini is reportedly ready to sacrifice the number 18. The 2003-born player has attracted interest from several clubs, particularly English and German ones.
In the last few hours, however, an Italian club has reportedly made an offer for the Roma winger.
According to Sky Sport, Cristian Chivu’s Inter Milan have inquired about the player.
Chivu’s Inter, starting last season, looked like they would restart with a new formation, but that wasn’t the case.
The Nerazzurri stuck with Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2, winning the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia.
On the right flank, the Milanese club will lose a key player.
Real Madrid is reportedly ready to pay Denzel Dumfries’ release clause, leaving the Romanian coach without the Dutch giant.
Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are working to bring Marco Palestra to Milan, but if Atalanta continue to put up a defensive stance, a change of formation isn’t out of the question, and possibly a move for Soulé.
