Spain predicted XI v France: Fabián Ruiz to start over Pedri | OneFootball

Like Didier Deschamps, Luis de la Fuente does not have any injury concerns as Spain face France for a place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. 

It leaves de la Fuente with some difficult decisions to make, particularly in midfield. Fabián Ruiz netted against Belgium in the quarter-finals, but his place in the starting XI would come at the detriment of Pedri. L’Équipe understands that the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder will start over Pedri in Dallas later today. 

On the left wing, meanwhile, it is Alex Baena who is expected to start over Nico Williams, whilst there is not expected to be a place in the forward line for Barcelona’s Ferran Torres. Dani Olmo is expected to start in the No.10 role for La Roja.
