Sporting allege provocation over Dragão dressing room as Porto cite museum tours

Images from Estádio do Dragão showed the visitors’ dressing room used by Sporting on Monday lined with newspaper front pages celebrating FC Porto’s past triumphs, with photos and Sporting banners also visible.

According to CMTV, Sporting also alleged the air conditioning was locked at the maximum temperature and that three towels belonging to goalkeeper Rui Silva went missing.

FC Porto reject any intent to provoke, saying the covers were installed in September as part of paid tours linked to the club museum, which include a stop at the visitors’ dressing room.

The club add that Sporting’s motivational decoration was placed directly on top of that material.

On the climate complaints, Porto say that area of the stadium uses a centralised system, with a uniform temperature set for the entire zone.
