One of Leeds United's injury doubts was spotted training in a video posted on the club's 'X' account.

Leeds United's new loan signing, Manor Solomon, was spotted in training ahead of the team's Championship clash with Cardiff City.

Although the Israeli international had been labelled as a doubt earlier in the week by Daniel Farke, the 25-year-old appeared in a training video taken on Leeds United's X account, which was posted earlier today.

It is unknown which day the video was officially recorded, but the footage is welcome news to Leeds fans, who are looking for a boost ahead of the weekend.

Manor Solomon spotted in Leeds United training video

Earlier this morning, footage emerged on Leeds United's 'X' account, showing Solomon taking part in a training drill ahead of the Peacocks' match with Cardiff - the 25-year-old can be spotted 46 seconds into the video.

During Farke's pre-match press conference on Thursday, the manager confirmed Solomon, Junior Firpo and Joe Rothwell had all been managing issues throughout the week, as per the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The outlet went on to report that Solomon had been managing an issue with his back, with Farke questioning his fitness ahead of Cardiff: "Perhaps the biggest question mark over Solomon."

However, the social media video presented Solomon as being fully involved with first team training, taking part in full contact fitness and possession drills.

Whether the winger will be fit enough to start the game against Cardiff this weekend remains to be seen, but the footage will be encouraging for the side as they look to bounce back from defeat to Burnley.

Having signed on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit, Tottenham Hotspur, Solomon will be hoping to make an impact in the Championship this season.

The Israeli international impressed during an initial loan spell at Fulham during the 2022/23 Premier League season. Solomon was allowed to join Fulham from Shakhtar Donetsk due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

As reported by BBC Sport, Solomon exercised a FIFA rule which allowed Ukraine-based players to suspend their contracts and play elsewhere.

While at Craven Cottage, the winger demonstrated his enviable ball control and ability to drive at defenders with his low centre of gravity. With his skill and trickery, the Israeli could glide past defenders with ease and had an eye for goal.

Clearly impressed by his exploits in West London, Spurs signed Solomon on a free transfer from Shakhtar, with the winger penning a five-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, Solomon's first season in North London did not go to plan as the winger underwent surgery on his meniscus in his right knee. As a result, the 25-year-old only made six appearances, assisting twice.

Since moving to Elland Road, Solomon has started both of his opening matches against Hull City and Burnley and produced an assist on his debut against the Tigers.

If the Israeli can avoid any serious injuries this season, then he should make significant contributions on the pitch for Leeds, and he will be keen to prove to Tottenham that he is the real deal.

And despite being a major doubt for Leeds' trip to Cardiff, Solomon could yet feature now due to the footage that has been shared by the Whites on social media.

According to Farke, the winger had been struggling with a back problem earlier in the week, with the manager claiming he was a big question mark.

Having already produced one assist in two games, the 25-year-old will be hoping to press on with more of an impact during his loan spell at Elland Road.
