Kylian Mbappe, by far, is Real Madrid’s most lethal weapon heading into El Clasico.
The Frenchman, after all, has completely carried the team’s attacking department on his shoulders so far this season.
The start to the new campaign has been the best ever start Mbappe has enjoyed to a season in his entire career, and that speaks volumes about his current run of form.
The 26-year-old already has ten goals in nine appearances in La Liga and five goals in three European appearances and scored in 11 consecutive games for club and country ahead of the team’s midweek clash against Juventus.
Mbappe’s record against Barcelona, in particular, is spectacular heading into the Clasico.
Considering the number of times he has locked horns with the Catalans during his time with PSG and now with Real Madrid, that says a lot about his success rate.

In the eight times the player has faced off against the Blaugrana over the years, Mbappe has 11 goals to his name and thus averages over a goal per game. Further, he also has an assist to his name against the Catalans.
Despite Real Madrid’s dreadful record against Barcelona last season, Mbappe was one of the bright sparks as he scored five goals over the four meetings and could have easily had more had his runs been timed better to get past the offside trap.
Later today, the player will again have to be at his blistering best if he is to lead Real Madrid to a special win, especially given all that the club endured last season.
Once again, however, he must be wary of the timing of his runs given that Barcelona will look to play him offside as often as possible.
