Jørgen Strand Larsen is set to leave Wolves to join Crystal Palace for around 45 million euros, according to Superdeporte.
The Norway striker, formerly of Celta de Vigo, is viewed as a physical focal point who can sustain long attacks and occupy defenders.
Wolves are in a sporting and financial reset, needing sales to rebuild, and Larsen is among their most valuable assets.
His spell at Wolves reshaped perceptions. He arrived as a project player and leaves as a proven Premier League centre-forward.
Trusted as a regular starter, he delivered key goals and unselfish movement, pinning centre-backs and freeing team-mates, without being a constant highlights striker.
His numbers and decision-making have improved, he needs fewer chances and competes when his team do not dominate. That growth helps explain the fee and Palace’s interest.
Palace want to push on after seasons in mid-table, seeking stability and more. Larsen offers reliability, Premier League experience and the ability to hold play higher.
Celta opened the door to elite European football for him. He was industrious yet erratic in Vigo, then sold to the Premier League for about 30 million euros.
At Wolves he sharpened shot selection and timing in the area. He is not lethal, but far more dependable. Palace now offers an ambitious project and a leading role.
