Strasbourg and Lyon interested in Brentford’s Fábio Carvalho | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace are long-term of Brentford forward Fábio Carvalho (23), and the BlueCo-owned club continue to monitor the Portugal youth international’s situation, as per a report from Sky Sports.

Strasbourg have been interested in signing Carvalho since the start of the calendar year, however, Brentford have previously refused to sell the forward. But in the opening weeks of this season, the forward has seen his game time limited, and whilst he came off the bench to register a last-minute equaliser against Chelsea earlier in the season, he has so far registered less than 100 minutes of Premier League football.

That comes after Keith Andrews insisted that the former Liverpool and Fulham man was a part of his plans. But Strasbourg, in light of the player’s limited game time, continue to monitor the situation and retain their interest.

However, as per Sky Sports, Olympique Lyonnais are also in the race, as are Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart.
