Strasbourg host Lyon in Ligue 1 at the Stade de la Meinau on Sunday, 22 February 2026, with the visitors in third aiming to extend a winning run and the hosts, eighth, looking to edge closer to the European places.
Recent head to heads have tilted Lyon's way, including a 2-1 home win in October 2025, so Strasbourg will lean on home support to rebalance the matchup.
Le Racing's recent league form is mixed: a 4-1 win at Lille and a 2-2 draw at Marseille bookend narrow losses to Paris Saint-Germain and Le Havre. Les Gones arrive on a charge after league wins over Metz, Lille, Nantes and Nice, plus a Coupe de France victory against Laval.
Le Racing are without Emanuel Emegha. Les Gones miss Hans Hateboer, Orel Mangala, Afonso Moreira, Ernest Nuamah and Malick Fofana.
Le Racing have scored 36 in the league, averaging 52% possession with 87.93% passing accuracy. Joaquín Panichelli sits second in the scoring chart on 12, with Martial Godo adding six. Les Gones' defence is a platform, with just 20 conceded and 12 clean sheets. Pavel Sulc has 10 league goals, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles has supplied three assists, and Moreira leads their assists with six but is sidelined.
A win would lift Le Racing to 34 points and could nudge them towards the European places. Victory would take Les Gones to 48 points and further consolidate their Champions League position in third.
