Sucic becomes second World Cup player back at Zubieta | OneFootball

Luka Sucic has returned to Real Sociedad duty at Zubieta, becoming the club’s second World Cup player back after Take Kubo’s Thursday comeback.

According to Diario Vasco, the Croatia midfielder resumed work exactly three weeks after his nation’s World Cup elimination by Portugal.

He greeted team-mates and staff, underwent routine medical and fitness tests, then headed onto the Z1 pitch with Kubo for opening runs.

Sucic joined the group for the warm-up, but he is not expected to feature on Saturday at 18.00 against Wolverhampton, the first of two friendlies in England. It is currently unclear whether he will travel with the squad or continue working in Zubieta.

Two internationals are still to rejoin. Guedes is due back on Wednesday, while Oyarzabal is scheduled for 10 August. The squad trained this morning in Zubieta and will depart at 15.30 for Birmingham.
