Kyril Louis-Dreyfus’ reported net worth places Sunderland 15th among Premier League owners, following a rapid revival since he became majority shareholder in February 2021.
Sunderland Echo reports that the Black Cats have celebrated two promotions, including a Wembley play-off win that ended a nine-year top-flight absence, and secured European football for only the second time.
Head coach Regis Le Bris led them back into the elite, a standout summer window preceding a campaign that finished with Europa League qualification. The 28-year-old owner has been a visible, popular presence home and away.
At the top of the wealth list, Newcastle United are listed at £723.3bn. They are followed by Manchester City at £24.5bn, Manchester United at £20.5bn, Chelsea at £19bn and Arsenal at £16.1bn.
