Sunderland confirm 2026-27 pre-season, USA tour and Stadium of Light friendly with Stade Rennais | OneFootball

Sunderland have confirmed their full 2026-27 pre-season schedule, featuring a three-match USA tour and fixtures against York City, RC Lens and Stade Rennais as Régis Le Bris’ side finalise preparations.

The club said further information, including ticketing and streaming details, will be communicated in due course.

Pre-season begins at York City on Saturday, July 18, at the LNER Community Stadium, kick-off 3pm BST.

Sunderland then spend a week in Nashville, Tennessee, concluding that leg against Liverpool at Geodis Park on Saturday, July 25, at 5pm CDT.

Next is Leeds United at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, on Thursday, July 30, with a 7.30pm EDT start.

The stateside tour ends on Sunday, August 2, versus Wrexham at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, kick-off 12pm EDT.

After returning to Wearside, a double-header with RC Lens in France follows on Saturday, August 8. A Sunderland XI meet a Lens XI behind closed doors at the Ligue 1 club’s training ground at 11am BST, before a different XI plays at Stade Bollaert-Delelis at 4pm BST.

The only home friendly sees Stade Rennais visit the Stadium of Light on Saturday, August 15, with a 3pm BST kick-off, one week before the 2026-27 Premier League season begins.
