Sunderland’s early TV picks confirmed, Fulham on Sunday, Arsenal late | OneFootball

Sunderland have had two early Premier League fixtures moved for live television coverage.

According to Sunderland Echo, the opening home match against Fulham has been pushed back a day, so the Stadium of Light hosts it on Sunday, 30 August, kicking off at 2pm live on Sky Sports.

The second home game, against Arsenal, remains on Saturday, 12 September, but the start time shifts to 8pm, with TNT Sports showing it live.

The announcement locks in the first four league dates, starting with a 3pm opener at Ipswich Town on Saturday, 22 August, then a trip to Brentford on Saturday, 5 September at 3pm.

After Arsenal’s visit, Sunderland travel to Manchester City a week later, currently listed for a Saturday 3pm kick-off. Europa League league phase matchday one falls on 16 or 17 September.

An extended international break follows, with Brighton due at the Stadium of Light on the weekend of 10 October.
