Granit Xhaka leads on 143 for Switzerland, and will captain his country this window. He has appeared at six major tournaments, split evenly between World Cups and European Championships, and is their record appearance holder, joint-76th all time.

Bertrand Traore sits next on 86 for Burkina Faso, with 21 goals and 11 assists, including 22 Afcon outings. Reinildo Mandava follows on 48 for Mozambique.

Omar Alderete and Dan Ballard are both on 33 for Paraguay and Northern Ireland respectively. Trai Hume has 28 for Northern Ireland, scored his first international goal in October, and has captained five of his last seven appearances.

Lutsharel Geertruida has 19 for the Netherlands. Noah Sadiki is on 17 for DR Congo, as is Habib Diarra for Senegal, who has four goals and was part of the Afcon-winning squad now stripped of that title.

Nilson Angulo owns 12 caps and one goal for Ecuador, who face Morocco and the Netherlands in friendlies this month. Brian Brobbey has 8 for the Netherlands. Chemsdine Talbi has 3 for Morocco after switching from Belgium youth levels, and is in to face Ecuador and Paraguay.
