Football League World takes a look at how Opta's supercomputer has predicted the 2025/26 Championship table.
Championship clubs are set to discover their end-of-season fate on Saturday, 2 May, when the final matches of a thrilling second-tier campaign will be played.
Frank Lampard's Coventry City remain at the summit despite Monday's 2-1 defeat to Norwich City, whereas Sheffield Wednesday are still on -7 points following deductions amid the South Yorkshire club's financial turmoil and poor on-field displays.
Coventry's weaker form in recent weeks has given Middlesbrough a serious chance of winning the Championship title, but Ipswich Town, Hull City, and Millwall will have aspirations of clinching automatic promotion ahead of Boro.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Oxford United and Blackburn Rovers are vying to drag themselves out of the relegation zone, while clubs such as Portsmouth and West Brom are eager to stay clear of trouble.
Football League World takes a look at how Opta's supercomputer has predicted the final Championship table will finish.

Perhaps least surprisingly of all, Opta have predicted that Wednesday will finish bottom of the Championship this term, courtesy of their points deductions and woeful form in the second tier.
The Owls are yet to win since their 2-0 victory at Portsmouth back in September, and the Hillsborough faithful will be hoping for a significantly better season, both on and off the field, in League One next campaign.

Oxford supporters may be disappointed to hear that the supercomputer has predicted that the Kassam Stadium club will be relegated to League One alongside Wednesday.
Matt Bloomfield earned his first win as United boss against Leicester City last Saturday, but the 41-year-old still has a lot of work to do to keep his side in the Championship.

Rounding off the pattern of teams who currently reside in the bottom three being relegated at the end of the season, the supercomputer has predicted that Blackburn will finish 22nd in the second tier.
The Lancashire club will desperately want to avoid returning to League One for the first time since 2018, but that could well be the fate they face come the end of the campaign.

Portsmouth finished 16th in the Championship last season, which was their first campaign back in the second tier since 2011/12.
Survival remains the primary aim for John Mousinho's men, who Opta predict will narrowly avoid the drop by finishing in 21st position.

Eric Ramsay has endured a turbulent start to his tenure as West Brom boss, suffering a late 3-2 loss to Middlesbrough and a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Norwich City before earning a 1-1 draw with Derby County.
However, the supercomputer has outlined that the Baggies should finish 20th, avoiding relegation at the expense of Blackburn, Oxford and Wednesday.

Charlton Athletic have endured a largely inconsistent Championship campaign so far, while recent results, such as a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of local rivals Millwall, have put the Addicks in serious relegation danger.
However, Opta's supercomputer has crunched the numbers and predicted that Nathan Jones's men will survive the second-tier drop after winning promotion from League One last term.

Philippe Clement's Norwich have been on resurgent form since the former Rangers boss took over following Liam Manning's largely disastrous tenure at Carrow Road.
Consequently, Opta have predicted that the Canaries will avoid the drop relatively comfortably, finishing 18th.

Swansea City have been inconsistent in the Championship lately, playing out a 1-1 draw with Birmingham City before beating Blackburn 3-1, then losing 2-1 at Hull.
The Welsh club currently sit 16th in the second tier, whereas the supercomputer thinks a slightly worse 17th-place finish is on the cards for Vitor Matos's men.

Securing a Premier League return was Southampton's aspiration at the beginning of the Championship campaign.
However, a significantly less fruitful season has unfolded for the Saints so far, while former boss Will Still was sacked in November after just five months in charge.
The former top-flight club are now under the stewardship of Tonda Eckert, but Opta's predictions still have them finishing in the lower echelons of the Championship.

Julien Stephan's men currently have an outside chance of beating the likes of Wrexham to a Championship play-off spot.
However, the supercomputer believes that Queens Park Rangers are set to tail off at the business end of the season, landing an underwhelming 15th spot.
