A new supercomputer has issued its first projection for the 2026-27 Premier League, putting Arsenal out front and offering fresh encouragement for Leeds United.

According to BettingLounge, the model was run after Sunday’s final day and sets out an early predicted table from bottom to top.

Leeds and Sunderland both avoided the immediate drop on their top-flight return, United finishing 14th and Sunderland securing Europa Conference League football in seventh.

Burnley were the only newly-promoted side to go straight back down, ending second bottom with Wolves and West Ham also relegated. Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City will come up, and Arsenal will begin as defending champions.

The projection’s early top six reads Arsenal on 86 points, Manchester City 78, Liverpool 75, Manchester United 68, Chelsea 66 and Aston Villa 63.
