Superliga Feminina: Fluminense beat Tijuca to seal 6th place

Fluminense defeated Tijuca by 3 sets to 1 (25/21, 22/25, 25/17, and 25/18) this Friday at the Hebraica gymnasium, in the tenth round of the second half of the Women's Superliga. Already qualified, the Tricolor reached 32 points and secured sixth place. Fluminense took the lead by winning the first set, saw Tijuca tie in the sequence, and regained control of the match to close the game with a victory. The libero Marcelle was named the best on the court and received the Viva Vôlei Trophy. Ariane, with 22 points, and Vanessa Janke, with 16, were the offensive highlights. The Tricolor concludes its participation in the second half next Tuesday at 9 PM against Brasília Vôlei, at Hebraica.
