A member of the defensive ranks at Barcelona currently possesses a superior passing accuracy rate to any other player in La Liga in 2025/26.

That’s according to statisticians WhoScored, who point towards Andreas Christensen as the player in question.

Stopper Christensen has for his part spent the early weeks of the new season working his way back into the plans of manager Hansi Flick.

After an injury-ravaged year last time out, the Dane has recovered full fitness, to reemerge as a legitimate option at the heart of Barcelona’s backline.

All told, across the Blaugrana’s six league fixtures to date, Christensen has played some part in all but two.

And as alluded to above, along the way, the former Chelsea man’s efforts on the ball have proven to be of the highest standard.

This comes amid confirmation by way of WhoScored that:

‘Andreas Christensen currently has the highest pass accuracy (96.5%) of any player in La Liga this season.’
