Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi believes there’s ‘just one name’ to take over at the Allianz Stadium in 2025-26 and it’s his ex-teammate Antonio Conte.
Ex-Juventus midfielder Tacchinardi backs Conte to become the new Bianconeri coach next season.
Tacchinardi and Conte spent several years at Juventus, where they won the 1996 Champions League and multiple Serie A titles, among other trophies.
“If you keep this club here, to me, there is just one name and it’s Antonio, Antonio Conte. I’d take him. He’s the one who is proving to be a high-level coach,” Tacchinardi told Ilbianconero.com on Instagram.

“You know he’s a peculiar coach. I’d like to be clearer on specific dynamics, but I don’t know them. I don’t know if the club is really present at training sessions or if they talk to Conceiçao after a social media post. I don’t know if Douglas Luiz was told anything after going clubbing following a 4-0 loss to Atalanta. A coach can’t do everything on his own. The club must help him.”
Conceiçao and Douglas Luiz have recently complained on social media about their lack of playing time, and the Brazilian midfielder was spotted at a club in Turin after a home loss against Atalanta in March.
Conte is under contract with Napoli until June 2027, but he’s expected to discuss his future with President Aurelio De Laurentiis at the end of the season.
Conte’s Napoli are the current table leaders in Serie A with a three-point lead over second-placed Inter and just three games remaining.
Juventus coach Igor Tudor is under contract with Juventus until July and will lead the team in the Club World Cup this summer.
