Tarik Muharemović flying in to seal £34m Leeds move | OneFootball

Leeds United are closing on their second summer addition, with Tarik Muharemović flying into the region this morning to complete his transfer to Elland Road.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the left-sided centre-back has been selected to replace Pascal Struijk, who joined Brighton earlier this summer.

During his spell with Italian club Sassuolo, Muharemović has shown aerial strength, mobility and a presence in both penalty areas.

A £34m agreement was reached in Italy on Tuesday evening, followed by work to finalise personal terms. At 23, the Bosnia and Herzegovina World Cup star is due at Leeds Bradford Airport for a medical and to sign paperwork, in what will be the most expensive deal of 49ers Enterprises' ownership era.

The Whites have already added Harry Wilson on a free transfer from Fulham.
