Team news: Daniel Farke names XI to face Manchester United | OneFootball

Leeds United face Manchester United in our first pre-season fixture ahead of the 2025/26 campaign in Stockholm at the Strawberry Arena.

Daniel Farke has named a strong starting line-up, with some of our summer signings making their first appearance for the club.

Karl Darlow starts in net for the game, and he is supported by Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol, Jayden Bogle and Sam Byram in our defence.

Captain Ethan Ampadu is alongside Ilia Gruev and Ao Tanaka in the midfield, whilst Jack Harrison and Willy Gnonto join Lukas Nmecha in the Leeds United attack.

The substitutes bench this afternoon features goalkeepers Illan Meslier, Alex Cairns and Rory Mahady along with newcomers Gabi Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff and Seb Bornauw. Also joining them is Pascal Struijk, Dan James, Joel Piroe, Largie Ramazani, Sam Chambers, Harry Gray and Rhys Chadwick.

The match today is scheduled to kick-off at the slightly later time of 3:10pm (CEST) / 2:10pm (BST).
