West Ham have been dealt an exit bombshell on the eve of our Premier League kick off today.

It was revealed yesterday by global ITK Fabrizio Romano that Lucas Paqueta is now weighing up options, despite much suggestion of late stating that he was likely to stay.

The Romano message on X could not have come at a worse time, with Graham Potter earlier in the day stating in the media that Paqueta is set to have one of his best seasons.

So the news of doubts over whether he will remain has come at a terrible time, with West Ham set to take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light today.

Its also understood that Edson Alvarez is nearing an exit from east London, with the Mexico captain fallen out of favour with Potter.

There is also a belief that Alvarez was the player in question when it was revealed a member of the squad had been punished for repeated lateness.
