Thaisinha and Ketlen have no set return date for Sereias da Vila, with the duo at different stages of recovery and reconditioning.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Thaisinha, the no. 10, is recovering from arthroscopy on her left knee performed on 18 November to repair cartilage and meniscus damage. She has begun the initial on field transition with physiotherapy.

She will then work with the fitness staff before being reintegrated into full Santos training. Ketlen, the no. seven, returned to CT Rei Pelé on Tuesday 24 after maternity leave and is on a tailored reconditioning plan while joining parts of group work.

She is not involved in tactical drills as she rebuilds fitness after five months out. Once the conditioning team consider her at 100%, she will resume full activities under head coach Caio Couto. She gave birth to Lucca on 20 November and trained with the group up to the eighth month of pregnancy.

Thaisinha has 80 goals in 202 appearances for the Sereias. Ketlen, the club’s all-time leading women’s scorer, has 207 in 363.

Santos continue their Brasileirão Feminino campaign and face Botafogo on Friday 03 at 21:00 at Nilton Santos. They sit ninth on eight points with two wins, two draws and one defeat, scoring eight and conceding six.

The club will also contest the Paulistão and the Copa do Brasil this year, and could call on the pair as the season progresses.
