The 9 Barcelona stars who will be present on first day of pre-season training | OneFootball

Nine members of the first-team setup at La Liga champions Barcelona are expected to be in attendance at the club’s first pre-season training session.

This of course comes with the bulk of Hansi Flick’s squad currently away on international duty, or enjoying their post-World Cup vacations.

The likes of Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Jules Koundé and Anthony Gordon remain in contention to go all the way with their respective nations in North America over the weeks ahead.

For a number of others, though, preparations for the new club season will imminently begin in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona confirmed on Friday that the club’s pre-season training programme will be kicked into gear next Monday, July 13th.

And according to Mundo Deportivo, the following group of first-team players have been called upon by Hansi Flick and his staff for the session:

Wojciech Szczęsny, Alejandro Balde, Gerard Martín, Andreas Christensen, Marc Casadó, Marc Bernal, Roony Bardghji, Fermín López and Héctor Fort.
