Find out which clubs in the Championship next term possess the highest estimated squad value.
Two of the Championship's richest clubs in terms of squad value earned promotion this season as Coventry City and Ipswich Town reached the Premier League, while Hull City bucked the trend.
The Tigers finished the season in sixth and made history by winning the Championship play-offs for a third time, becoming the first sixth-placed club to win at Wembley Stadium since Blackpool in 2010.
Sergej Jakirovic's side rank as the ninth most expensive squad in the division, surpassing expectations while under an EFL transfer embargo.
Lincoln City managed a similar feat, having waltzed to the League One title, but where do they rank among the rest of the 2026/27 second-tier sides when it comes to squad value?

Unsurprisingly, the Imps current squad value is an estimated £8.64million, according to Transfermarkt, but that will almost certainly change when the first ball is kicked in August.
Lincoln's most prized asset is goalkeeper George Wickens, but with the club set to embark on their first Championship voyage, they will need to strengthen significantly this summer.

Cloesly ahead of the League One champions are play-off victors Bolton Wanderers, whose squad is worth an estimated £12.5million following their promotion to the second tier.
The Trotters' squad value may well dip before it increases as loan stars Mason Burstow, Ibrahim Cissoko and Johnny Kenny make up their three most valuable assets.

Making up the three lowest squad values in the Championship next term is the final promoted side, Cardiff City, whose estimated value is £25.84million.
The Bluebirds possess several top talents with significant value, including top scorer Yousef Salech, David Turnball and soon-to-be out-of-contract Ryan Wintle.

Narrowly ahead of Cardiff is Charlton Athletic, who avoided relegation to League One with an estimated squad value of £26.8million.
The Addicks will be looking to bolster their squad this summer if they want to distance themselves from the drop, with Sonny Carey their most valuable asset.

Pompey are another side who flirted with relegation this term, and they did so with one of the lowest squad values in the Championship, with an estimated worth of £31.24million.
Adrian Segecic and Terry Devlin are their two most valuable players, but their most prized asset is arguably manager John Mousinho, who has been linked with several clubs this summer.

Once a Premier League mainstay, managerless Blackburn Rovers have now been out of the top flight for 14 years and have shown no signs of returning any time soon.
Rovers' estimated squad value is £34.45million, with Mathias Jorgensen and Andri Gudjohnsen their most valuable talents.

There is then a substantial leap to Preston North End, who experienced an underwhelming campaign, finishing in 14th place.
North End's estimated squad value of £47.1million is somewhat skewed due to loan players being their most valuable assets, as Alfie Divine and Daniel Jebbison make up two of their top three.

Derby County exceeded expectations in a multitude of ways this term, having gone from relegation candidates to play-off hopefuls with one of the lowest squad values in the Championship.
Manager John Eustace was responsible for such an upturn in form, with the Rams' estimated squad value at £47.22million, courtesy of Patrick Agyemang and loan star Bobby Clark.

Another side who found themselves embroiled in a relegation battle was West Brom, who narrowly avoided relegation despite a points deduction towards the end of the season.
The Baggies' squad is valued at an estimated £52.16million, with Isaac Price by far their most valuable player, worth just over £10million.

QPR endured a miserable end to the 2025/26 season and will be striving to make progress ahead of their 11th successive campaign in the Championship.
Last summer's recruits Richard Kone and Rumarn Burrell make up a substantial chunk of the Hoops' estimated squad value of £59.73million and the latter has been attracting interest of late.
