James Trafford, Rico Lewis, Max Alleyne, and Ryan McAidoo all started that particular match. Each player played a key role in the win for Pep Guardiola’s side. Yes, Exeter City aren’t on Manchester City’s level. No one disputes that assessment. But the City youngsters seized their opportunity to impress, and that was fantastic to see at the Etihad Stadium in the third-round FA Cup tie.
