Having thrashed Port Vale 7-0 in the FA Cup quarter final last weekend, the Blues are preparing to host City on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are in desperate need of points, with the Blues currently sat outside of the Champions League positions in sixth, with just seven games remaining.
Chelsea have lost their last two league games against Newcastle and Everton, whilst they also boast a really poor home record this season.
The Blues managed a 1-1 draw at the Etihad earlier this season, with Enzo Fernandez scoring a last minute equaliser.
Everyone will need to be at their best, including Palmer, if Chelsea are going to stand any chance of getting a positive result.
Palmer revealed after the Port Vale game he’d turned a corner physically, which is a huge boost, and he’s now shared Rosenior’s message ahead of Sunday’s game.
“The gaffer has said it needs to be a perfect week; everyone needs to be on it,” Palmer told Chelsea’s website.
“Every time you win, it’s nice. Losing those four games was not good and it’s fair to say that confidence was down. It’s natural for it to go down.
“But the win [against Port Vale] meant everyone was happy and now we’ve got a clear week and we need to have a good game on Sunday.
‘We’re looking forward to it, it should be a good one.”

It’s been confirmed that fifth place in the Premier League will once again secure Champions League football, which is a boost for Chelsea.

The Blues currently sit a point behind fifth placed Liverpool, and will need to have a really strong end to the season if they are to be playing Champions League football next season.
Missing out would be a huge blow, and could have serious implications on the summer plans, and Rosenior’s future.
