Having had a quiet January Chelsea are once again expected to be busy in the summer, with reinforcements required in several areas of the squad.
Chelsea are believed to be in the market for a centre back, whilst it’s thought they want to add another midfielder and attacker.
It’s thought new manager Xabi Alonso will have a say in transfers, whilst co-owner Behdad Eghbali has stated the youth focused recruitment model will be tweaked.
Chelsea will reportedly look to target players with proven Premier League experience, but fans will only believe it when they see it happen.
Despite signing four attackers last summer, and with deals for Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha already agreed, Chelsea still want to add another attacker.
The Blues have been linked with Morgan Rogers, and The Guardian have reported they hold interest in Hammers captain Bowen.
The report adds Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested as clubs look to take advantage of financial problems if West Ham get relegated.
The Guardian state Chelsea’s interest is not at an advanced stage, but they believe he could offer competition on the right, and provide cover for their strikers.
Bowen has scored ten goals and registered 11 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions, and is under contract until 2030.
