Life at Real Madrid is full of competition but also plenty of light-hearted moments, and Jude Bellingham has just shared one of them.

The English midfielder recently revealed on Instagram what nickname he and his teammates use for new signing Dean Huijsen, who joined Los Blancos this summer.

It all began when Huijsen uploaded a set of photos to his Instagram account. The post drew plenty of attention from fans, but it was Bellingham’s playful reply that caught the eye.

The England star left a comment calling Huijsen “Spaghetti,” followed by a heart emoji. With that, the mystery of what the Real Madrid dressing room calls the young defender was solved.

The nickname has a humorous, light-hearted tone, showing the growing bond between the squad’s senior figures and its new arrivals.

Bellingham calls Huijsen Spaghetti.

While the nickname highlights the fun side of life at Real Madrid, Huijsen’s performances on the pitch are no joke.

The Spanish centre-back has slotted seamlessly into the first team since his arrival and has already secured a regular starting spot.

For manager Xabi Alonso, the Spaniard has become almost untouchable, especially for the way he builds play from the back and keeps the team calm under pressure.

The trust Alonso has placed in him so early shows the confidence the coaching staff have in the defender’s talent and maturity.

At just 20, Huijsen represents both the present and the future of Real Madrid’s defence. His ball-playing ability adds a new layer to Madrid’s backline, perfectly complementing the tactical style Alonso wants his team to play.

Between his growing importance on the pitch and the playful nickname “Spaghetti” off it, Huijsen is quickly becoming a popular figure in the Madrid locker room.
