The next top talent is coming into focus at FC Bayern: U17 goalscorer Philipp von Taube was allowed to train with the professionals for the first time – and immediately collected several sessions under Vincent Kompany
The 16-year-old is currently regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents on the Bayern campus. On Monday, the centre-forward joined the first team on the training pitch at Säbener Straße for the first time, and he was again part of the session on Tuesday
Von Taube has been the Munich U17s‘ outstanding attacker this season. With 17 goals in 21 games, he clearly tops the internal goalscorer list, underlining his enormous finishing power
It comes as no surprise that von Taube has now been given his first taste of the professional game. Internally, the young striker is regarded as a great hope for the future. Nevertheless, his sporting future at FC Bayern is currently still open
His contract only runs until the summer, which is why those responsible will have to make a decision soon. One thing is clear: after his strong performances, there should be no shortage of interested parties
What is particularly explosive is that the attacking player is now being looked after by a Spanish consultancy agency, which has already accompanied several top talents on their way. For FC Bayern, this means that they are challenged in their search for their own young star
In addition to von Taube, Kompany has increasingly relied on young players in training over the past few days. Numerous talents from the campus area were also present on Wednesday
The following youngsters trained with the professionals: Skender Nuraj (2010), Thibault Maspimby (2010), Simon Schaff (2009), Adam El-Chaar (2009), Erblin Osmani (2009), Philipp von Taube (2009), Frank Egwuatu (2009), Richard Ajayi (2009), Maycon Cardozo (2008), Leopold Schmid (2008)

For many of them, it is an important first step towards the professional game, and under Kompany in particular, the path from campus to the first team seems to have become shorter
For Philipp von Taube, this opportunity could now point the way forward – both in sporting terms and with a view to his future at FC Bayern.
