The NHL meets Inter: a special visit to Inter HQ and the BPER Training Centre | OneFootball

Ahead of the official start of the 2025/26 season, Inter took part in a day dedicated to international sport. As part of the NHL European Player Media Tour, organised ahead of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, on Thursday, August 21 a delegation of NHL executives, led by Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly, was welcomed at Inter HQ by Inter’s Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci and visited the Trophy Room, the space that houses the trophies and symbols of the club’s history. After the visit to the Inter HQ, the activities moved onto the BPER Training Centre in Appiano Gentile, where, on Saturday 23 August, eight NHL players took part in a special meeting with Cristian Chivu's side at the end of the training session. The meet was a chance to promote the values of international sport ahead of the Olympics and it ended with a shirt swap involving the Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer and Moritz Seider, a German defender for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League.
