Richarlison’s rescue act for Tottenham Hotspur at Liverpool earned his side a valuable point at the weekend, with a last-minute equaliser ensuring Spurs left Anfield with a point.

The goal was also a milestone moment for Richarlison, who became only the third Brazilian footballer to reach a century of goals and assists in the Premier League.

The Brazilians to reach 100 Premier League goals and assists

Roberto Firmino – 132

Roberto Firmino leads the way for Samba stars in English football, having recorded 132 goals and assists in the Premier League.

Firmino signed for Liverpool from Hoffenheim in a £29m deal in 2015, and starred following a positional switch under Jurgen Klopp. The German moved the midfielder into a centre-forward role, and Firmino became a crucial part of Liverpool’s success.

He scored 82 league goals, assisting 50 more, as part of a formidable frontline alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. Firmino won a clean sweep of major honours across his eight seasons at Anfield, including the 2019 Champions League and 2020 Premier League.

Gabriel Jesus – 118

Gabriel Jesus has racked up 118 goals and assists in the Premier League during spells with Manchester City and Arsenal.

He joined the former from Palmeiras in January 2017 and made an immediate impact with seven goals in his first 10 league games.

The following season, Jesus scored 13 league goals as City became the first team to record 100 points in a Premier League season. It was the Brazilian’s last-gasp goal against Southampton on the final day that confirmed the Citizens as ‘centurions’.

Jesus won four league titles at the Etihad before moving to Arsenal in 2022. He’s scored 20 times in 81 league games for the Gunners, during an injury-impacted spell in North London.

Richarlison – 100

Richarlison reached 100 goal involvements at the weekend with his late equaliser at Liverpool.

The forward made his mark in English football with Watford, before joining Everton in a £40m deal after the Hornets were relegated from the top flight.

He became a firm fans’ favourite at Everton, reaching double figures for Premier League goals in three of his four seasons. However, he was sold to Tottenham in a £60m deal in 2022, as Everton looked to balance the books.

He’s scored 73 goals in his Premier League career and assisted 27 more.
