‘They were very well organized‘ — Alejandro Balde reacts after Barcelona 2-0 Osasuna | OneFootball

FC Barcelona continued their winning run as they overcame a resilient Osasuna side last night to secure a 2-0 victory and extend their lead at the top of La Liga to 7 points, with Real Madrid still holding a game in hand.

Raphinha was the standout performer for the Blaugrana, scoring both goals while playing most of the game as an attacking midfielder. This position limited his usual combination play with Alejandro Balde on the left, but it did not stop him from being decisive in the final third.

Speaking to the media after the match, as highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, Balde highlighted how challenging the game was:

“Because it was a very difficult game due to their very strong defensive block. They were very well organized in defense and there weren’t many spaces, so it was hard to create goal-scoring opportunities. But with patience, we found solutions, managed to score two goals, and we are happy with the team’s work and the victory.”

The left-back also praised Raphinha and welcomed the Brazilian’s return to form:

“Having Raphinha with us is a great satisfaction, especially for young players, because he always gives a lot of advice. I’m very happy that he has regained his great form after his injury.”

Despite the win, Balde remained focused on the team’s approach rather than the league table:
