Sources: Chelsea have internal striker discussions for January – Victor Osimhen return on the cards – Pre-deal not ruled out!

Gallagher was adored by the Chelsea fans inside the stadium, but not loved so much by a small section on social media. Either way, he has left now and is playing his football in La Liga in Spain. It’s a new chapter for Gallagher, and a good move for him really.

Gallagher will hold no hard feelings for Chelsea, and the majority of the Chelsea fan base will hold no hard feelings for him either.

Gallagher currently with England

Gallagher has done an interview whilst out on international duty with England, and he speaks on leaving Chelsea for the first time since the move was completed.

As cited by The Daily Mail, Gallagher said:

‘Chelsea make their own decisions and they’ve brought in some top players on long contracts. That wasn’t the situation with me but, in the end, what happened is good for everyone, so everyone is happy.

‘In football, things happen.

‘With my situation, I’ve left Chelsea but I look back at all my memories and I’m really happy I was able to play for them for the couple of years I did.

‘It was a dream come true. I’m very lucky.

‘As everyone knows, there was a lot going on over the few weeks that it was all happening with Chelsea and Atletico trying to agree a deal. Other situations came into it. But I was always very calm about the situation and I’m really happy with the outcome.’
