Despite recent claims of a finalized agreement, the contract extension for Arsenal's Bukayo Saka is nearing completion but has not yet been officially signed, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

While refuting reports of a full agreement, Romano emphasized that all parties share a strong desire to continue their partnership and are approaching the final stages of negotiation.

The journalist expressed confidence that the 24-year-old academy graduate will soon sign a new long-term deal, underscoring the overwhelmingly positive atmosphere surrounding the discussions. With Saka's current contract set to expire in 2027, the anticipated agreement would secure the services of a player who has contributed 76 goals and 71 assists across 277 appearances for the London club.
