The future of Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho remains uncertain as the summer transfer deadline nears. One pundit believes that the Red Devils shouldn’t sell the player to any club, considering they might regret it down the road.

There’s conflicting information on where Paris Saint-Germain stands in this race, but it seems the Parisians are out. The Guardian recently suggested that a move to PSG now seems unlikely for Sancho, regardless of any connection to the Ugarte deal.

Meanwhile, The Athletic highlighted a feeling within the club that Chelsea might make a move for the 24-year-old before the transfer window closes.

Additionally, Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth reported on Thursday that Juventus are interested in signing Sancho and are currently looking into the details of a potential deal. Sheth also mentioned that the Serie A club and the Englishman have already discussed personal terms.

Whether it’s the reigning Ligue 1 champions, Chelsea or Juventus, talkSPORT’s Hugh Woozencroft states that selling Sancho isn’t a gamble the English side should take.

“I still think there is enough of a player there with the big caveat of who will be the manager of Manchester United at the end of the season and what might their plans be for Jaden Sancho,” Woozencroft said on Thursday.

“I do think that lingers over everything that Eric ten Hag does. I’m not saying keep him in the squad for this season, but I feel like if you let him go on a permanent, you might be letting go [of] a player who could easily be [a] top draw in the future…

“Get him out on loan like we did with Dortmund. He played well enough at Dortmund for you to think that there still could be a Manchester United, a successful Manchester United player there. Get him out there again. If he continues on that trend, who knows what he can do in a Man United shirt? I just think it’s too early to give up on him.”

Sancho spent the latter part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he played a role in the club’s run to the UEFA Champions League final. Last season, Sancho played in 24 matches for  Manchester United and Dortmund, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
