Torino ‘add’ Leeds goalkeeper Lucas Perri to summer shortlist | OneFootball

Torino are considering Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri this summer, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Brazilian joined from Olympique Lyonnais in a £16m deal last summer, recruited to be number one, but a difficult debut season saw Karl Darlow overtake him.

Perri started 16 Premier League matches, the last in January after errors against Manchester United and Newcastle. He featured four more times, all in the FA Cup.

He is said to sit on Torino’s list alongside Aaron Ramsdale and Paraguayan Orlando Gill. At Elland Road he is currently the only senior keeper under contract, with Darlow, Illan Meslier and Alex Cairns no longer contracted, although an agreement with Cairns is understood to be in place.

Leeds have held talks with Darlow and made a contract offer, but Manchester United and Everton are believed to have proposals on the table as he weighs his options.

Meslier is due to join Arsenal, and further departures would prompt a significant reset in goal. Zion Suzuki is admired, though suggestions of an active pursuit are thought to be wide of the mark, while any move for James Trafford would face strong competition and a reported £40m fee.
