Barcelona will face off against Osasuna at the El Sadar Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan giants managed to earn a 2-0 win over Getafe recently, which should give them some momentum ahead of this game.

Hansi Flick will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Hence, Ferran Torres will once again spearhead Flick’s attack up top.

Defence

Joan Garcia will play in between the sticks for the Catalan club after he kept a clean sheet in his last appearance. Gerard Martin will play alongside Pau Cubarsi at the centre of the Barcelona backline as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.

Eric Garcia will hope to impress as the right-back, while Joao Cancelo looks to put in a good display on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Alejandro Balde and Ronald Araujo will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Pedri and Gavi will operate as the holding midfielders as they focus on winning the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park and engineering some clear-cut chances in the final third.

The gifted trio of Dani Olmo, Fermin Lopez and Roony Bardghji will play just ahead of them as part of the Barcelona attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Catalan club are to come out on top this weekend.

Marc Casado and Frenkie de Jong will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Ferran Torres will once again lead the charge for Barcelona up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace in the final third.

Robert Lewandowski will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Barcelona are in need of a goal by then.
