Tottenham Hotspur are open to using Richarlison as makeweight in a deal to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, according to the Daily Mail.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club want to bring the England international to North London this summer, and the Eagles value him at £60 million.
Spurs and Palace have been in talks for Eze in recent days, but an agreement has not been struck.
Tottenham are now exploring a part-exchange involving Richarlison plus cash for Eze, and it remains to be seen whether that will convince the Selhurst Park club.
The Brazilian has hit the ground running this season, grabbing a brace as Spurs strolled to a 3-0 win over Burnley at the weekend.
He has been linked with an exit all summer, and it appears his performance in the opening game of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign did not convince head coach Thomas Frank.
Tottenham are desperate to sign Eze, and giving Richarlison for him will shock some fans despite the injury record of the former Everton star.
The Englishman is an upgrade on his Brazilian counterpart given their performances over the last three seasons, but Spurs should be looking to keep the 28-year-old.
On Saturday, he looked ready to put his injury woes behind him this season and prove himself all over again, and letting such a hungry player leave makes no sense.
Eze will be a great signing for Tottenham, but they need all the quality depth in attack as they prepare to challenge across the domestic competitions and Champions League.
They are back in action on Saturday with a trip to Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City, and Richarlison could be key to their chances of getting a result.
Palace want Eze to feature against Fredrikstad in the first-leg of the Europa Conference League play-off on Thursday, and he could still remain at the club for the second-leg next week.
Whether both clubs will go ahead with the swap deal remains to be seen, but signing the Eagles star will be great for Spurs, and losing Richarlison would not.
He has been deservedly named the Premier League Player of Matchweek One, and he has more to offer this season from the look of things.
