Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have PSV Eindhoven striker Ismael Saibari and Manchester City midfielder Nico Gonzalez on their summer transfer wishlist.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club are eyeing a squad rebuild as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to challenge for silverware next term.
Spurs want to strengthen in the middle of the park after opting against signing Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha permanently.
Gonzalez has played 58 games for Man City since joining them in 2025, but the Spaniard is not a regular starter and a move to Tottenham could appeal to him if he is guaranteed a place in the starting XI.
Juventus’ Khephren Thuram is also a target for the position, while Brighton & Hove Albion’s Carlos Baleba and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott have been linked in recent weeks.
Thuram is a regular in Serie A with the Old Lady, playing 96 games across the last two seasons.
However, the 25-year-old was not included in the World Cup squad for France and moving to the Premier League could appeal to him.
De Zerbi also wants attacking reinforcements, and Saibari has caught his eyes.
The 25-year-old Morocco international has 42 goals and 29 assists in 142 games for the Eredivisie club, ending 2025-26 with 19 goals and nine assists.
He could be a huge addition to the Spurs’ attack but it appears he will be joining Bayern Munich.
Tottenham are also in the market for a new goalkeeper with Guglielmo Vicario expected to leave this summer, while De Zerbi wants quality competition for Antonin Kinsky.
As a result, Spurs might compete with suitors for Leeds United’s Karl Darlow and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Sam Johnstone in the coming weeks.
They have recently been dealt a blow after Sebastian Kehl opted against joining them as their new co-sporting director.
The German was expected to move to Tottenham after they stayed up but he has rejected their offer, and they could now look elsewhere.
