Tottenham Hotspur face a decisive stretch in both Europe and the Premier League, and the spotlight now falls on how Thomas Frank navigates a squad hit by multiple injury concerns. With Slavia Prague visiting on Tuesday in the Champions League, and a challenging trip to Nottingham Forest following on Sunday, the need for clarity around fitness issues has never been more acute.
Tottenham Hotspur’s attack has leaned heavily on Randal Kolo Muani in recent weeks, with the on loan forward starting seven of the last eight matches. His sharp movement and link play were evident against Brentford, although he was replaced after 74 minutes. While Frank was not questioned about him post match, Kolo Muani was spotted limping as he left the ground, prompting fresh concern ahead of the Slavia Prague clash.
Spurs are set to train on Monday morning, with Frank expected to offer a full injury update that afternoon. For now, the club are cautiously optimistic that he could still feature on Tuesday.

Destiny Udogie completed the full 90 minutes in the recent 2-2 draw with Newcastle, although he was clearly struggling late on. Frank confirmed the issue afterwards, stating: “Not too long. He got a soft tissue injury, unfortunately, against Newcastle.” Spurs will hope his recovery stays on the short term side, but December remains the earliest projection.
Dominic Solanke’s situation remains more complicated. The striker has not played since August due to persistent ankle trouble and has avoided committing to a return timeline. Frank reiterated last week that Solanke is not close to rejoining the squad, adding: “When they are ready to really be close to being involved in the squad, then I will give more information.”

There is at least genuine encouragement with Radu Dragusin. After nearly ten months out, he has now played 45 minutes against Leyton Orient and 65 minutes against Dagenham and Redbridge. Dragusin said: “It felt good, first minutes in 10 months out, finally minutes in the legs and I just have to build on this.” A December first team return is firmly within reach.
Dejan Kulusevski is another player Spurs hope to see before the end of the year. Frank has previously said there is a “good chance” of a 2025 return, although the club remain cautious not to accelerate his recovery.

Defender Kota Takai managed the first half of the recent fixture in his comeback path, saying: “First of all, I am just glad I finished without getting injured. And now, I want to work hard toward making my debut for the first team next.” His final return timeline remains uncertain.
Yves Bissouma, recovering from ankle ligament surgery, has yet to feature this season and still has no confirmed date. The same applies to James Maddison, whose torn ACL suffered in pre season means he is unlikely to appear again until summer 2026.
