Tottenham rebuff Juventus interest in Kolo Muani | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur striker Randal Kolo Muani is reportedly attracting transfer interest despite struggling for form in north London, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Spurs are currently not giving the green light to his exit after Juventus called in the last 24/48 hours to ask about his situation.

Tottenham signed Kolo Muani on loan last summer, but his time at the club has been quite underwhelming.

He has managed only two goals and three assists in 23 appearances and failed to convince at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, with Richarlison currently injured and Dominic Solanke never far away from the treatment table, it makes sense to keep him.

Getting a Kolo Muani replacement this late in the transfer window will be difficult, as there are limited options in the market.

But if Tottenham’s recruitment team can identify and secure a replacement who offers presence, reliability, or even a different tactical dimension, it may be worth the punt.

Kolo Muani does not move the needle.

He offers little physical presence through the middle, no real authority in the box, and his finishing has too often been tentative when Tottenham need conviction.

For a side that already struggles to turn dominance into goals, carrying a forward who neither stretches defences nor intimidates centre-backs feels like a luxury.

If the club can get its hands on a competent centre-forward like Jorgen Strand Larsen, then they should not think twice about binning the Frenchman.

The 6ft4ins Norwegian striker offers something different to Solanke and would be perfect for Thomas Frank’s direct style of play.
