According to information from the player’s entourage, Eintracht Frankfurt are said to be asking for a transfer fee of between €50 and €55 million – a sum that is hardly feasible even for Dortmund’s ambitious plans. Historically, BVB have never paid more than €35 million for a player – a mark that has never been exceeded even in exceptional cases

The situation is different for FC Bayern, whose interest was recently confirmed by David Ornstein of The Athletic. For the record champions, Larsson would be a long-term investment in central midfield – both in sporting and strategic terms. Although his contract, which runs until 2029, puts Frankfurt in a strong negotiating position, Bayern would be one of the few clubs in Germany that could realistically afford such a sum

However, it is clear that a transfer of this magnitude is not a foregone conclusion for FCB either. Munich must be absolutely convinced by the player to invest such a sum.
