According to L'Équipe, Monaco has placed Simon Adingra at the top of their wishlist. As the club looks to reinforce its offensive options, the principality side is eager to bring in the Ivorian striker, the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations champion, on loan until the end of the season.

Simon Adingra is currently under contract with Sunderland, who have just been promoted to the Premier League. The 24-year-old forward has struggled for regular playing time, and this move could be the perfect opportunity for him.

If the transfer goes through, the former Brighton player will be embarking on his first experience in Ligue 1 and potentially in the Champions League, with Monaco having qualified for the preliminary rounds where they are set to face reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain.
