Deadline day is here and we’ll be bringing you all the twists and turns as they happen in our live blog below.

Premier League clubs have until 7pm to finalise any last transfers for the January window – the same cut-off time as in France, Germany and Italy, although Spanish and Scottish clubs can do business until 11pm – and there are plenty of deals to keep an eye on.

10:07am: Antonin Kinsky is set to stay at Tottenham despite interest from West Ham, The Athletic are confirming.

10:05am: Manchester City have confirmed they have recalled Sverre Nypan from his loan spell at Middlesbrough.

10:04am: Fulham recently rejected a bid from Everton for Harry Wilson, BBC Sport are reporting. Wilson could leave Fulham on a free in the summer, but they don’t want to sell him today.

10:01am: Arsenal have opened talks to sign 18-year-old striker James Wilson from Hearts, Fabrizio Romano has revealed. The deal would be a loan to start with.

9:56am: Nottingham Forest midfielder James McAtee is attracting interest across Europe, but is set to be kept on at the City Ground, according to The Sun.

9:53am: Some news from Scotland from our correspondent Fraser Fletcher: Celtic want to try and sign a centre-back before the deadline, while Rangers are in the market for a striker.

9:46am: And with Disasi on the verge of joining West Ham, one defender who won’t end up at the London Stadium is Taylor Harwood-Bellis, with David Ornstein now confirming he will stay at Southampton after a number of bids.

9:44am: West Ham have booked a medical for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi this morning, Sky Sports have revealed, after TEAMtalk confirmed earlier that they were the frontrunners.

9:39am: Chelsea have confirmed the departure of academy forward Yahya Idrissi to AC Milan, where he will play for the reserve team.

9:28am: Newcastle have swiftly denied any contact from Arsenal about Tonali, relays Chronicle reporter Lee Ryder.

9:17am: A bit of a bombshell here from Florian Plettenberg, who claims Arsenal are exploring a shock move for Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali. File that one under difficult to do, though, with the Magpies rebuffing the rumoured approach.

9:10am: Jamaal Lascelles could leave Newcastle on deadline day after being given permission to speak to Championship side Leicester City, per Sky Sports.

9:06am: Brajan Gruda’s loan move from Brighton to RB Leipzig has now been officially confirmed by both clubs.

9:05am: There’s a late scramble for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, TEAMtalk’s Graeme Bailey says, with West Ham viewed as the frontrunners but AC Milan and Fiorentina also registering interest, while Tottenham are considering their own move.

9:02am: Wolves have made a bid worth £8m for Torino striker Che Adams, according to Football Insider.

8:59am: Brighton are about to loan out Brajan Gruda to RB LeipzigtalkSPORT are reporting, in an effort to boost his gametime.

8:54am: Jhon Duran’s representatives are scrambling to secure him a move to England on Monday after a proposed switch to Lille collapsed at the final stage, TEAMtalk’s Graeme Bailey can reveal. Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Leeds have all been approached.

8:47am: Celtic are set to sign Freiburg forward Junior Adamu on loan, Sky Sports reports, but the clubs are still discussing an option to buy.

8:42am: Jean-Philippe Mateta is undergoing extra medical tests in London today ahead of a proposed move from Crystal Palace to AC Milan, David Ornstein reports, with a deal already agreed between the two clubs.

  1. Arsenal: Looking at loan options to cover for Mikel Merino’s injury.
  2. Chelsea: Offloading the likes of Tyrique George and Axel Disasi, and recalling Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg.
  3. Liverpool: Sealing a summer deal for Jeremy Jacquet, but unlikely to make any immediate signings after a deal stalled for Lutsharel Geertruida.
  4. Manchester City: Likely to be quiet after already signing Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo this month.
  5. Manchester United: Unlikely to make signings but should be sending Ethan Wheatley on loan to Bradford City.
  6. Tottenham Hotspur: Assessing striker options after another injury for Dominic Solanke, with Juventus still linked with Randal Kolo Muani. Antonin Kinsky remains linked with West Ham.

8:23am: Angel Gomes is undergoing a medical ahead of his move from Marseille to Wolves on loan for the rest of the season.

8:15am: Ricardo Pepi’s move to Fulham hangs in the balance as PSV don’t have a replacement lined up. Fulham have agreed a fee for the striker, but Fabrizio Romano says the deal is not proceeding.
