Juventus coach Igor Tudor admits the Bianconeri ‘lacked a bit of everything’ but they’d still deserve a draw against Parma.
Tudor suffered his first defeat as Juventus coach on Wednesday, seeing his men lose 1-0 away at Parma.
The Bianconeri only produced their first shot target around minute 60 with Randal Kolo Muani.
“We lacked a bit of everything. We pushed a lot in the second half, but we were not dangerous enough,” Tudor told DAZN.
“We conceded a goal from a cross from 40 meters. We are disappointed, but we look ahead. There are still five games remaining and a lot of points at stake. We already play in four days.”
Juventus’ loss means the Bianconeri are now fifth in the Serie A table, one point below fourth-placed Bologna.
Today’s game in Parma was a rescheduled fixture from Monday, which was postponed following the death of Pope Francis.
Juventus had returned home on Monday and went back to Parma this morning, and had to train at a slower pace over the last two days to avoid injuries or physical issues.

“It’s true, we had this problem, but it’s no excuse. We have to adapt and look ahead,” said Tudor.
“Parma are doing well now. They play simple football, but they have a competitive spirit. We deserved to score a goal, but unfortunately, we were not determined enough up front. I can’t say Parma did so much, but it’s a defeat, and we must accept it,” Tudor continued.
“We could have done more. When you reach the last 20 or 25 meters, if you need to score. If you don’t do it, the risk is losing the game. Parma scored a great goal. We put 20 crosses in, and we did nothing. We lacked that determination and desire. Too many times, we were just happy to participate. We must grow, be wicked and have the desire to win and fight. That’s what I told the lads. You don’t win with tactics, systems, and you can win with that, but mostly with other things.”
Dusan Vlahovic was subbed off during the halftime break due to a thigh injury.
“Dusan had an issue,” Tudor confirmed.
“Cisco [Conceiçao] and Kenan [Yildiz] tried their best; they have excellent quality, but unfortunately, it was not enough.
“We pushed in the second half; Parma attacked two or three times in 45 minutes. We didn’t score, and when you don’t score and are not dangerous, you can play for eight hours.”
Juventus’ next game is against Monza at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, April 27.
