FC Barcelona have started 2025 in the best possible fashion. After getting a victory in the Copa del Rey against Barbastro, they went on to win against two of the most dangerous teams in Spain, Athletic Club and Real Madrid, to win the Spanish Super Cup.
This last win was inarguably the most cherished one for the Blaugranes, as they beat their heated rivals with a 5-2 scoreline, having scored 4 goals in only the first half.
The whole of the Catalan team performed at a very good level in that game, but one of the more prominent players for them was once again Lamine Yamal, who scored his side’s first goal to equalize Kylian Mbappe’s early goal.
But in addition to being decisive on the pitch, the young winger was also engaged in an interesting interaction with a Merengue fan after the game.
As Mundo Deportivo has reported, a video has captured the Barcelona winger interacting with a fan wearing a Real Madrid shirt that is going viral on social media.
The boy asked Yamal for an autograph, and the Spaniard obliged. Afterwards, he also posed for a photo with the Barcelona winger. But while posing for this photo, Yamal covered the Real Madrid crest on the boy’s shirt with his hand.
Later, Robert Lewandowski also signed an autograph for the same kid, and just like Yamal, he also covered the Merengue club’s crest while posing for a photo.

One can only imagine the reason for this gesture from the two Barcelona players, but still, they are being applauded for this by Blaugrana fans on the internet.
On a more positive note, this gesture still shows the generosity and kindness of the two Barcelona players who did not avoid fulfilling a child’s wishes despite him clearly supporting a rival team as hated as Real Madrid.
