Inter Milan duo Joaquin Correa and Mehdi Taremi face intense scrutiny amid the club’s effort to land a coveted treble.

Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the underperforming duo has undermined Inter’s lofty aspirations.

Correa has gone ten league games without scoring since finding the net against Hellas Verona in November.

Though most of his appearances in that sequence came off the bench, his overall performance was far from impressive.

Unfortunately for the Inter faithful, the same goes for Mehdi Taremi.

Joaquin Correa has never hit the ground running at Inter and will leave the club in June.

However, Taremi has joined the Nerazzurri with a pedigree of a lethal goalscorer.

Yet, one goal from a spot-kick across 22 Serie A appearances doesn’t make for good reading.

With Marcus Thuram struggling for match fitness, now would be a perfect time for the Iranian to get back on track.

Otherwise, Inzaghi may turn to Marko Arnautovic to partner Lautaro Martinez in the final third.
