Udinese and Nigeria star Maduka Okoye tips a two horse race for the Serie A title between Inter Milan and Juventus.

The former Watford goalkeeper told The Italian Football Podcast, he thinks Juventus have started well under Thiago Motta.

However, Udinese stopper Okoye added that Inter Milan is a top candidate for the Scudetto, but Juventus cannot be discounted.

The Udinese star stated that “from the way it’s going Juventus with Thiago Motta looks quite strong. But for sure Inter will also be a top candidate.”

Maduka Okoye was linked with a move to Inter Milan this past summer.

However, in the end Inter Milan opted to sign Genoa and Spain goalkeeper Josep Martinez instead.

Maduka Okoya – Alexis Sanchez “A Legend At Udinese As Well As Of The Game”

Okoye continued by heaping praise on former Inter Milan striker Alexis Sanchez. The former Arsenal and Barcelona man returned to Udinese earlier this summer.

Okoye argued that Alexis Sanches is more than just a club legend at Udinese. But in fact Alexis Sanchez is a legend of the game as a whole.

When asked what it is like to have Alexis Sanchez as a teammate, Maduka Okoye stated that it was “unbelievable.”

He added: “I remember when he walked in changing room the first time, I was sitting on my chair, I sit right at the beginning.

“So I looked up, stood right up and shook his hand like I mean it is Alexis Sanchez. He is a legend of the game, not just a club legend at Udinese, but in the whole game.

“It’s a privilege and I’m proud to be able to work with a legend like Alexis Sanchez” Okoye concluded.

Maduka signed for Udinese on a permanent deal in the summer of 2023. He has since made 24 appearances keeping six clean sheets in the process.
