Although qualifying has not started yet, it is confirmed that the opening game at EURO 2028 will be in Cardiff, while both semi-finals and Final will be at Wembley Stadium in London.
The tournament is co-hosted by England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland.
There are 24 teams who can qualify for the competition and Italy hope to be among them, especially as they lifted the trophy in 2021.
That was the EURO 2020 event, delayed by a year due to the global pandemic, and Italy beat England in the Final at Wembley Stadium.
The Final will be there again in 2028, along with both semi-final matches.

UEFA announced today that the opening fixture is going to be at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
The quarter-finals will be in Cardiff, at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Glasgow’s Hampden Park and Wembley.
Other venues are the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Villa Park in Birmingham, Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, and St James’ Park in Newcastle.
The qualifying draw will be held in Belfast on December 6, 2026.
As there are four host nations, they will not be automatically given a qualifying spot to the tournament.
Italy and Turkey are co-hosting the EURO 2032 event, with six stadiums each.
