At the end of the 8th matchday of the Champions League, eight teams clinched direct qualification for the round of 16. But that's not all—they also gave their finances a serious boost by finishing in the top 8.

Among these eight teams, five are Premier League clubs: Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester City. The other three lucky contenders are FC Barcelona (Spain), Bayern Munich (Germany), and Sporting CP (Portugal).

According to Marca, by finishing at the top of the group stage standings with eight wins from eight matches, the Gunners pocketed a hefty sum of €59.74 million.

Bayern Munich and Liverpool, finishing second and third respectively, earned €57.33 million and €54.92 million.
